on creating games in the fallout universe like fan made fallout (I know it's a mod). How much thought have you given considering to try to team up with other initiatives in terms of storyline, dialogues etcetc?

I guess you want to ask, if we thought about teaming up with existing projects? Actually yes, but there is nothing really comparable out there at the moment. zero-projekt is similar to some extend but has its really own style really.

Hm. Well, I've been reading a bit about fan made fallout and it seems like a rather large project. This one, as I understand it, seems to be an even bigger undertaking. It seems you guys know what your goals are but how do we get there? With my rather puny knowledge it seems we need people in the hundreds with a fairly efficient project management to make this actually happen (which I would love to see created and contribute to if I become convinced that it is at all possible). My initial thought when posting this was that perhaps it would be doable to use bits and pieces and people from other projects to channel all possible resources out there. OR are you telling me that to be at all useful for this project, any other project material just have to be a perfect mirroring of this one?

Actually we can adjust the degree of complexity ourselves, from zero to Fallout3 equivalent (in a good sense). So we can divide in three levels "Fallout mod", "Sequel using 3rd party Engine", "Sequel build from scratch". If it could be done is the other thing. Actually the interest in a true Fallout sequel is much lower than expected, people seem to be happy with Beths interpretation of Fallout. As you can see the activity is not really active these days, especially in teh channel where we are most time only 0-3 people around. I will carry on, so lets see what happens =) //edit: thats the project I told you about in my first reply
